1. I know that new potestas were added in the order books, any chance of translating them?

2. I read somewhere (I've been using online translators, so I know my information could be way off track!) that the book De Bello Britannico included info on the Samaelites....could you share some juicy stuff?

I have like a zillion more questions, but I don't want to be a nuisance.....

I appreciate your good disposition towards my questions and I'd be grateful for any kind of answer.

Hi there katsol!

Give us all the questions, yeah!

1) Actually we're working on the translation (others are, I'm supervising them ). To be true: on a whole brandland.de English version, but that'll take some time. And we haven't yet recieved any feedback if someone would use this new feature...
But I think we could post some preview material, hu? (As soon as I've got some material. 'Till now, Michaelites and Urielites are done, Gabrielites and Ramielites are in progress. Raphaelites and Urielites haven't recieved new potestas.)
But you can find the so far translated Ramielites on page 3 of this thread and the extended Michaelites' Potestas have been published in English, so let us know if we sould post them anyway.

2) It does contain the Order Book: Sarielites - not Samaelites. They've got potestas, background and everything you need to play them. We already have some menu content (see the sidebar) for short information.
If you're also interested in Sarielites, let us know

If you don't mind my crappy English, I could mail you a catalogue of questions and background material already answered (by me) for a Engel-fan from Scandinavia...

Thanks for such a fast answer!!! I do understand the humongous effort translating the whole site would mean, but posting some preview material is a great idea!
Please do send the catalogue, I would be forever grateful! I am planning on starting a chronicle and there is so much information that's out of our reach... I mean, we could make stuff up, but it just doesn't feel the same.

Unfortunately not in the English-sector.
We've made some new stuff for the german page, but the translator work is really going on slow. Well, actually we only have got 2 people, who are already very busy with their lives and drawing pictures for the page to translate all the stuff. (But look out for new pics )
But for some specific information you can send me a PN if you like. I'd be glad to help.

It would be just GREAT to see simple quick summary about what`s new in the setting`s books - Bello Britanico, Mater Eclesia and so on.

May be few key plots (is it still not known what the hell is Inferno?)

Sorry, took me some time...

Unfortunately, the translation project is going on really slow. We've got only two translators and hardly anyone seems interested in a English version. So, i guess babelfish will have to do the job...

And no, still no informations about what the Infernos are or where they come from

Mater Ecclesia is about the church, how it works, who is who and so on. It tells you how to play mortals like templars or clerics because there is very much background - and storyhooks of course. But almost no metaplot.

DBB - What's in: Description and maps of the isle, how the people live there (or lived...) and stuff.
Of course, the timeline of the invasion and the most important happenings are also listed - the Angelites conquer half of the island, drive the Britons back into the north or to Ireland.

Codex Urbanis is about the life in the cities, what's up with the Urbanis League, how it works and it also portrays some of the more important members and - of course - their rulers.

Hey everybody!

I'm no native speaker but if you want me to, I would have a go at the translation project. This would be pretty good exercise for me.

I do university-level British English (though mainly legal translations). So if someone from the UK, US or somewhere else would recheck on my translations (gramar and expressions), creating the English version of brandland.de could work. The English speakers would get some info at least even though the transations may not be perfect.

I would treanslate the texts that are on brandland.de. However, I would need some of the English speakers with the official English Engel Corebook, the Dreamseed and the Michaelites Orderbook to work on a glossary with me so that I get the special expressions right.

Working on a German/English glossary should be the first step.

The second step would be the translation. I propose a thread in the Erzählerforum in which I could show my translations.

The third step would be a correction from a native speaker. This could be done in the same thread.
